Creating Simple Twists of Fate

Long time, no post! Lol. Set up today at the 2024 Women’s Summit, wearing one of my favorite pair of earrings, and a shirt created by my friend .apparel - “Know your worth. Own your power.” (Check out her site for other empowering designs!)

Life gets busier every day, so I haven’t had much time to play with clay the past few months. But today is all the Christmas kickoff fun at , so I knew I want to get some seasonable earrings made for my stand. Fortunately I carved out just enough time this past week to get a few fun pairs made, and got them to the shop in the nick of time 🧑‍🎄

Poppies! Yes this is multiple pictures of the same slab…I just love the colors in it so much! Not sure I’ll be able to cut into it for earrings 😅

Inspired by other clay artists I’ve admired on the gram, I created my own polymer clay peacock today! Don’t know what I’m going to do with this preening beauty yet, but he was fun to make!

I know, I have been slacking on posting here lately! This summer I’ve found my groove getting some (much needed) organization done around the house, so that has taken priority! But, I have been dabbling in clay play when I can, and I also have confirmed that I will have the honor of setting up a booth next to my good friend .apparel at Network Nova’s annual Women’s Summit in July! I’ve tried out a couple new techniques over the past week: the Sutton slice, and painting with liquid clay (which I colored on my own!). tools make creating SO much fun! 💜

Just dropped off a new round of earrings at my local chocolate and gift shop! Always fun to see my art out in the world 🤗

Early Christmas gift to myself was to get lost in clay play allll day yesterday 😂 Yes there are still gifts to wrap but that’s what Christmas Eve is for, right?! 😂 I also finished binging The English…beautiful and heartbreaking, to put it simply. Highly recommend.

I had intended to make more ornaments this year, but best laid plans, etc 😆 Anyway, I at least wrapped these up in time to hang on our own tree! 🎄❄️
