What an unforgettable night at the WTEF Share the Love Gala! ❤️

Through our partnership with the Washington Tennis & Education Foundation, Highest Speak spent the last few months coaching students for the inaugural Game Set Speak public speaking competition!

Our six winners then had the incredible opportunity to deliver their speeches before hundreds of guests at the gala. I also had the privilege of sharing a few words about their hard work, growth, and the impact this experience had on them!

The best part? These students didn’t just become stronger speakers. They discovered that public speaking can actually be ….fun. 😀

There are so many kids who may not yet know they can do this. The culmination of athletics and confident voices! This is only the beginning. ✨

😂 What do memes and public speaking have in common?

More than you might think!

At this week's Ultimate Speak Middies Summer Camp, students were challenged to take a random meme and turn it into an impromptu speech—thinking on their feet, organizing their ideas, and confidently presenting to the group.

There were plenty of laughs, lots of creativity, and even more confidence as each student put their own unique spin on the challenge.

Along the way, they practiced:
🎤 Public speaking
💭 Creative thinking
⚡ Quick decision-making
😊 Speaking with confidence—even on the spot!

👏 We couldn't be prouder of these students for stepping outside their comfort zones and giving it their all!

🤪Our white board… Highest Speak’s own personal hieroglyphics…. No idea when students’ draw these, but we love them… and have a very hard time erasing!

Oh and apparently, Cocomelon isn’t cool anymore?

What an incredible week at Highest Speak!

Our High School students spent the week learning how to organize ideas, speak with confidence, and deliver powerful TED-style presentations that connect with an audience.

Throughout the week, they challenged themselves to think critically, use emotion to strengthen their message, and step outside their comfort zones—and they did an amazing job!

👏 Congratulations to all of our students on a fantastic week. We're so proud of everything you accomplished and can't wait to see where your communication skills take you next.

Our Ultimate Speak Week 3 Juniors – "Pitch & Product!" campers wrapped up an amazing week by presenting their original product ideas to a panel of esteemed judges.

Throughout the week, these young entrepreneurs learned how to:
💡 Brainstorm and develop a product idea
📝 Write a persuasive pitch with a creative poster
🎤 Build confidence in public speaking
🤝 Answer questions and think on their feet

The video below captures the excitement of their final presentations. Standing in front of a live audience and judges takes courage, and every camper rose to the challenge with creativity, confidence, and enthusiasm.

We are so proud of each student for stepping outside their comfort zone, believing in their ideas, and delivering their best pitch. The communication and leadership skills they built this week will stay with them for years to come.
