Day 5 - Superhero Capes
Using recycled paper bags and any materials of your choosing for decoration such as stickers, paint, colorful sand, sequins, feathers, tape. You will cut the bag open into a “cape” shape which will then be decorated. Tape them onto the back of the kids shirt and now they have a recycled cape. With the older children we can have conversations about reusable materials and how we can lessen the use of single use items.

Day 4 - Rainforest Painting
Dilute paint with water inside individual spray bottles. Provide the children with a canvas and allow them to create colorful background inspired by the rainforest. The children will watch as the paint drips and study the cause and effect of their spritzes.

Day 3 - Fizzy Ice!
Mix 1 cup of baking soda, 1/2 cup of water, and a few drops of food coloring in a bowl. Spoon the mixture tightly into an ice cube tray and freeze. Once frozen, you can sq**rt or drop vinegar over the frozen cubes to trigger an instant fizzing and melting reaction. Best if you use an eyedropper!

A beautiful day in the garden! Our infants took a special trip to the garden to look for bugs. They were drawn to the blossoming sunflowers and each took one back to their class to cherish. It is so amazing to see what interests our children. Our teachers have to be quick on their feet to pivot an activity based on their interests.
