God protected our YWAM base in Chico during the Park Fire last summer, but our Hydro Plant burned down. YWAM Chico is seeking to rebuild our Hydro Power Plant that powers our community of missionaries in Chico California. God wants to raise up prayer leaders who know how to to be fervent and effective intercessors, and who are immersed in YWAM-style prayer. This style of prayer is how we heard God's voice from the beginnings of our mission, and is what kept us on the cutting edge with Him. Come get trained so we can revive intercession in YWAM again! In just over a month, the SOIP in Osaka Japan will begin! We start Oct 14th, and the last day is Nov 22nd. The 6-week seminar will train students in YWAM style prayer, which was taught us by Joy Dawson, Paul Hawkins and Mariette Louw from the 1960's when YWAM first began, through the 1990's. The YWAM style prayer has been lost, and what we now call "intercession" in YWAM is not working. Some DTS students were interviewed recently and all said that intercession is the most boring thing they do in their DTS! This is NOT the way it used to be when we met God through YWAM style prayer. Come get trained to meet with God in true YWAM style intercession. This kind of intercession taught us to hear God and is the place we received all our direction from God in building YWAM into what it currently is. God wants to revive this prayer in YWAM again! Come get trained to lead YWAM style corporate prayer that brings people right into God's presence to pray His prayers with him! The light brown part is YWAM Chico. God saved us from the fire! Everything around us is black and burned. Praise God for His wonderful protection of our home & ministry center!
