Christian Students had a great time digging into the Word over spring break at Yosemite National Park. We tent camped for 3 nights just outside the park and enjoyed a booklet called Deep Calls Unto Deep about how the Holy Spirit interacts with our human spirit, creating a deeper relationship with Him.

With a new year, we might make new resolutions. Perhaps this year you would like to get into the Bible more diligently. One tip to build up a habit of reading the Word daily is to simply pray, ‘Lord, give me a hunger for Your Word.’ God can then bring us into the same joyful experience of the psalmist in Psalm 119 in having a love and hunger for God’s Word.

Diller is Professor of Biomedical and Mechanical Engineering and the Robert M. and Prudie Leibrock Professor in Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin.
