Silver State Brigade JROTC

The Silver State Brigade Command Group was already hitting it hard on Saturday, not waiting for their school year to begin! The SSBCG is the Cadet Brigade Commander, CSM and staff along with the command teams from the 11 JROTC programs in the District! We had a great day up at the Grizzly Ranch Adventure Training Center, facilitated by Sierra Nevada Journeys Staff! The Brigades leaders hit the Alpine tower and high ropes/zip line courses despite the heat! What a great way to start the year! Great job cadet leaders-Hooah!!

WELCOME BACK!! Silver State Brigade Cadets are back in school and ready to rock another season of competitions, boards and adventure training!! We are officially in Raider Season with our competitions starting in September!

The Nevada SkillsUSA team has traveled to Atlanta this week to compete against the country’s best at the National Leadership and Skills Conference.

Please join us in recognizing our outstanding SkillsUSA Officer Team: President Sophia Caldera, Vice President Lionel Estrada, Secretary Joshua Hernandez, Treasurer Mya Rodriguez, Reporter Leya Padilla-Ceja, Parliamentarian Evelyn Gaitan and Historian Sasha Lopez.

Our Nevada team has successfully advanced to Tier 2 of national competition for Opening and Closing Ceremonies. Representing our state on the national stage, they stand as one of the final 12 states scheduled to compete tomorrow for the national title. GO NEVADA!!
