How the Advising Center Operates

The Advising Center operates primarily on an appointment basis. Occasionally during the first few days of the beginning of the semester we offer limited walk-in hours. Please make sure when making appointments that you have your student ID number (NSHE ID) available. Contact our main office line at (775) 784-4684 to schedule appointments. Please make sure you arri

ve on time or early to your appointments. The advisor reserves the right to re-schedule appointments if you are late. Every semester prior to your registration date
To discuss academic progress
To find out more about a particular major or minor
To discuss any problems that might affect your academic performance
To discuss dropping a class, and possible impacts from your decision (financial aid, full-time status, etc.) To monitor progress toward graduation

Looking for an on-campus job? The front desk team at the Exploratory and Pre-Professional Advising Center is now hiring! This position offers the opportunity to begin training and working during the summer and continue throughout the academic year.

We are currently seeking students with availability during the Fall semester on:

* Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (all day)
* Tuesday and Thursday mornings
