Representing Delaware alongside these dedicated educators was both an honor and a privilege. Together, we debated important issues, lifted up the voices of our members, and made decisions that will help advance the future of our union and our public schools.

Nearly 7,000 educators. One shared purpose.

It was an honor to serve alongside an incredible team of Delaware delegates at the 105th National Education Association Representative Assembly in Denver, where we debated, voted, and helped set the direction of our 3 million-member union.

At a time when public education faces unprecedented challenges, we came together to organize, strengthen our collective voice, and reaffirm our commitment to our educators, our students, and our democracy.

Grateful to have served alongside such dedicated Delaware educators and proud to help ensure Delaware's voice was part of the conversation.

Excited to be in Denver this week with fellow Delaware educators at the NEA Conference on Racial and Social Justice.

There's something powerful about being in a room with hundreds of educators, organizers, and community leaders from across the country who are committed to making our public schools more just, inclusive, and welcoming for every student. I'm looking forward to learning from one another, sharing our stories, and bringing new ideas and renewed energy back home to Delaware.

Up next: the annual NEA Representative Assembly, where more than 7,000 delegates from across the nation will come together to shape the future of our union and public education!
