He finally landed a job with Weidman Studios building 14th-18th Century reproductions. He then went to Melrose place where he noticed some of the furniture was being sold. He asked the store owners if he might work for them. They agreed and let him unpack and repair a lot of European pieces from the 14th-18th Century. For over 42 years, Robirds has been commissioned by Beverly Hills and Bel Air No

tables to create luxurious lifestyles from the best of the past. Robirds prides himself on designing and crafting his own hardware to compliment his unique creations. He uses a variety of aged woods, all of which are hand-hewn and hand-rubbed. Every piece is exclusively designed and skillfully constructed with the down to earth elegance in mind. Ray now lives and works in the beauty of the Ozarks of Southern Missouri. His focus right now is to continue making beautiful furnishings and to start teaching his craftsmanship to others.
