At Sisu Outdoor School, our students practice sisu every single day. It’s in the way they show up on chilly Pacific Northwest mornings, splash through pouring rain, and keep exploring anyway. It’s in the brave climbs over logs, the long hikes down forest trails, the teamwork of building forts, and the confidence that grows with each muddy adventure.

Sisu isn’t something we teach with words—it’s something children live through joyful, real experiences outdoors.
