We had a great time at Microsoft Give Connection Day last week!

It was wonderful to connect with Microsoft employees, share more about how LWSF supports students across Lake Washington School District, and join other local nonprofits showcasing the many ways people can make a difference in our community.

A big thank you to Microsoft for bringing local organizations together and giving employees the opportunity to learn, connect and get involved. Thanks to everyone who stopped by our table, spun our trivia wheel and learned a little more about LWSF! 📚🥫💙

It takes a community to make sure local students have what they need to thrive. 💛

Through Pantry Packs, volunteers, donors and community partners come together each week to provide weekend food for more than 1,100 LWSD students. As food costs and community needs rise, your support matters more than ever.

Have you spotted these signs around your school?

Our All in for Kids yard signs are popping up at LWSD schools as we kick off our annual fall fundraising campaign!

Every gift helps LWSF fund programs and resources that remove barriers, support wellness, build connections and enhance learning for students across our district.

When we all pitch in, we can make a big difference for local students.💙

We’re honored to be named one of the inaugural Redmond Spotlight 20 honorees by OneRedmond! 🎉

LWSF was selected in the Growing Redmond category, recognizing organizations making an impact in education, workforce, childcare and well-being.

Selected from nearly 90 applicants, the 20 honorees represent organizations helping shape Redmond’s future. We’re proud to be among them and to have our work alongside LWSD and our community recognized in this way. 💙

Thank you to OneRedmond for this recognition—and to our donors, volunteers, partners and supporters who make our work for local students possible. We look forward to celebrating with our fellow honorees on October 22!

A big thank you to Hand in Hand We Grow (HHWG) for supporting Pantry Packs again this summer! 💙🎒

Through their 2026 summer camps and fundraiser, HHWG students, instructors, families, and supporters raised $510 for LWSF’s Pantry Packs program—enough to help provide 60 weekend food packs for LWSD students experiencing food insecurity.

We’re especially grateful to see young people using their time and talents not only to learn, but to give back and make a difference for fellow students in their community.

Thanks to our incredible community, thousands of LWSD students started the school year with the supplies they need to learn and thrive! 🎒✏️

LWSF was proud to partner with LWSD to support the School Supply Drive, helping raise over $5,300 for essential supplies. Community members also purchased items from the district’s Amazon Wishlist and dropped off new supplies at locations throughout the community.

At LWSD’s Back-to-School Jam, hundreds of families picked up backpacks, school supplies, and other essentials to start the year prepared and ready to learn.

Thank you to everyone who donated, shared the drive, or volunteered! 💙
