Honored to be recognized at tonight’s Yucaipa Valley Arts Association & Music Spring Festival for Poppies under Siege.

From Poppies in Palestine to Poppies under Siege, this series continues to evolve as a visual testimony of resilience through watercolor.

These works are rooted in fragility and strength—where beauty persists, even under pressure, even through silence.

Following last year’s First Place recognition for Poppies in Palestine, it is deeply meaningful to see this continuing body of work receive acknowledgment once again.

Grateful for the opportunity to continue to give voice to these stories through art. Free Palestine 🇵🇸

So much warmth, connection, and support for art.

I captured some special moments from today—including the energy, the conversations, and the pieces that drew people in.

Should I share the full reel tonight or tomorrow? 👀

A beautiful evening at the National Orange Show 🤍
This is a juried exhibition that has been part of the community for over 109 years, bringing together artists from different backgrounds and levels. What makes it especially unique is that it’s an annual show where all exhibited artwork is available for purchase, supporting working artists directly.

I was also drawn to the permanent collection, with pieces dating back decades — a powerful reminder of the history and continuity of art in this space.

Grateful to have shared this special night with loved ones and congratulations to the award winning artists.

Thank you to the National Orange Show Foundation for allowing me to be part of such a meaningful and long-standing tradition.
