We are about to take a Thursday night to a Friday night level!
NEXT Thursday, August 27 from 5 to 9 PM you are going to want to be at Plantable!

From 5 PM to 6:30 PM we are going to have plant bingo! Yes, you read that right, plant bingo! And then from 6:30 PM to 9 PM we're gonna have an open mic for anyone to come up share their favorite song and showcase their talent. (It's not karaoke.)

It's a packed Thursday night of fun! To purchase tickets for plant bingo go to the link in our profile or go to our website at www.plantableredding.org and scroll down to the events portion.

Plantable is located at 2018 California Street in Redding, our entrance is across on Gold Street from the Riverfront Playhouse. Beer, wine and soft drinks, as well as paninis, beignets and salads will be for purchase so come out and have some fun with us!

Plantable is a unique nonprofit dedicated to addressing employment barriers in our community. Our mission is to empower underserved individuals—those who are experiencing homelessness, or facing disabilities—by providing them with vital, hands-on work experience.

We provide work experience to our participants in two key areas:

Horticulture: Learning plant care, nursery management, and landscaping skills.

Food Service: Mastering culinary and hospitality skills in our cafe.

This dual-focus approach helps them build confidence, create a strong resume, and find lasting employment. When you support the Plantable Nursery & Cafe, you are directly investing in a second chance and a brighter future for a neighbor.

MEET LEILANI!
Leilani is our knowledgeable Nursery Manager and has a strong passion for horticulture and beautifying Redding through plants. With years of experience in plant care and nursery management, she oversees the everyday operations of the Plantable Nursery such as cultivation, maintenance, and sales. Making sure to give good advice to customers and keeping the nursery stock healthy and thriving. She has an Associate’s Degree in Horticulture and Landscaping from Shasta College, a Master Gardener and QWEL certified.

CLEAN UP THE CREEK August 15th 9am-11am at Plantable 2018 California Street, entrance to nursery is on Gold Street across from the Riverfront Playhouse.

Cleaning up a creek is good for the wildlife, the environment, the aesthetics of the city and for all the people who pass by it daily. At Plantable, we love our community and want to see its beauty shine out for all to see! Free coffee and beignets! Plantable will provide tools, water, and snacks. Volunteers must sign a waiver, bring their own gloves, and wear long sleeves, pants, and closed-toed shoes.
