🎉 Red Oak ISD is proud to announce Paige Patterson as the new principal of Red Oak High School!

Mrs. Patterson brings nearly two decades of experience in education and a deep commitment to the students, staff, and families of Red Oak ISD. Having served as a teacher, department leader, instructional coach, testing coordinator, and assistant principal, she has dedicated her career to supporting student success and fostering a positive campus culture.

Most recently, Mrs. Patterson has served as assistant principal at Red Oak High School, where she has played a key role in campus leadership, student achievement, safety initiatives, and staff support. Her extensive knowledge of the district, passion for education, and strong relationships within the Hawk community make her exceptionally well-suited to lead ROHS into its next chapter.

Red Oak ISD is excited to announce David James III as the new principal of Red Oak Middle School.

Mr. James brings more than 15 years of experience in education, including service as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, and most recently principal of Maypearl High School. Throughout his career, he has been committed to building strong relationships, supporting student success, and creating opportunities for both students and staff to thrive.

Yesterday, the 25-26 ROMS Honors Band competed in the first step of the 2026 Honor Band Competition. A panel of 5 judges listened to recordings of each of the ensembles at the Region level to decided which bands would advance to the next round of the Honor Band process. 𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐒 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐚 𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥!
