Happy Winning Wednesday 🏆 as I share my win for the final Wednesday of the month for School Counselor On Wheels LLC A special thank you to Titilola Price, MPA to have received an invitation to attend and attend and be honored at UCNJ Union College of Union County, NJ Celebrate Her event. This special occasion honors and celebrates the remarkable contributions of African American women, both past and present, who have made a significant impact on their communities, accomplished remarkable achievements that paved the way for future generations.

We also engaged in a guided discussion about the health and healing within our communities. I am grateful to not only attend but was celebrated and honored along with trailblazing staff and the amazing LaTysha "Ty" Gaines! I also was able to reunite and finally meet in person LaToya Mitchell! 💕

As the month is coming to an end and my good sis Keia R. Boyd says “we are marching into March” let’s continue to uplift, celebrate and support one another. 💕

What do I witness and what do I see? I see the faces of students

➡️ Feeling alone; The idea “I have no one to talk to”
➡️ Disconnected
➡️ Don’t have a voice
➡️ Unmotivated
➡️ Wants to give up
➡️ Angry
➡️ Low self-esteem

What gets me up every morning is helping students build a strong sense of self, belonging and confidence
while learning to navigate challenges achieving academic success. I am passionate about reminding students how D.O.P.E. they are identifying their talents, gifts and strengths.

Motivation Monday’s‼️

BIG reflections from this past weekend attending the 35th 2024 NJ ELKS PEER LEADERSHIP conference with our leader’s and other high school leaders from all over New Jersey with .sh0nduhh

Over 450 students engaging in workshop sessions, team building, networking, games, laughs, fun, leadership training and development. The conference provides peer leaders with specific tools and resources to implement action plans in their communities, thus creating a network with the ability to educate their peer groups, schools, and communities on the skills learned at the conference. Speakers, staff, advisors, youth leaders all pour into one another. I am truly thankful and grateful for this opportunity to attend again this year‼️

Many feel invisible 🫥 daily. I want you to think 🤔 about in the spaces you create does anyone feel unseen or forgotten? All it takes is one person to believe in you… be that person. Our voices and actions matter.
