Dear Perspective Tutoring Families,

My name is Ariana Washington, and I am the proud owner of Mama Lynn’s Learning Center. With several years of experience in both teaching and childcare, I am deeply committed to helping children succeed academically. I hold a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Elementary Education (birth through 6th grade) from Graceland University, along with an endorsement in Reading (K-12). I have also completed my Master’s in Reading through Grand Canyon University.

Throughout my career, I have observed a growing gap in early literacy development. Many children enter school without the foundational skills necessary to succeed. This realization has fueled my passion for providing high-quality, evidence-based educational experiences. I specialize in using the Science of Reading techniques—an approach grounded in research that focuses on systematic, explicit instruction in reading. My goal is to offer rigorous, engaging lessons that empower children to build strong literacy skills and a lifelong love of learning.

Each session is priced at $30 per hour, with payment due at the end of each session. I accept payments via cash, CashApp, Venmo, and other methods for your convenience.

I am excited to partner with you in your child’s educational journey and provide them with the tools they need to thrive.

Important Notice: Upcoming Price Adjustment for All Tutor Sessions

Dear Current and Potentional Families,

I hope this email finds you in good health and high spirits. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for your continued trust and support in choosing my tutoring services to meet your child’s academic needs. As I strive to provide you with exceptional care and an unforgettable experience, I wanted to inform you of an upcoming change to my pricing structure.

Effective February 1st, 2024, I will be implementing a rate adjustment of $10 for each tutoring session. I understand that any price increase might come as a surprise, and we want to assure you that this decision was not made lightly. I have carefully evaluated various factors, including time, planning, progress monitoring, education, expertise, etc.

I am dedicated to continuously enhancing my skills and knowledge, ensuring that you receive the utmost care and professionalism during each session. The price adjustment will enable me to further invest in advanced programs and technology, allowing me to offer you an even more enriching and rejuvenating experience that supprts your child’s educational pathway.
