🧠⚡ Putting their brains to the test!

Our students took a hands-on approach to learning about the brain and nervous system by testing their reaction times! They explored how quickly the brain receives information, processes it, and tells the body how to respond.

There was plenty of focus, curiosity, and a little friendly competition as they compared their results! Activities like this turn science into something students can see, test, and experience for themselves. 🔬✨

🔬🦖 Little Scientists at Work! 🧲🐚

Our kindergarteners had an exciting day of hands-on learning at their Science Centers! From stepping back in time with dinosaurs and fossils to investigating rocks, experimenting with magnets, and exploring seashells, our young scientists were full of curiosity and discovery. 🔎✨

We love watching our Pilots ask questions, make observations, and learn about the world around them through exploration and play. 💙✈️

Way to go, Kindergarten! Keep exploring, discovering, and letting that curiosity lead the way! 🦕🪨🐚🧲

✈️💙 WHAT A FIRST DAY, PILOTS! 💙✈️

Our first day of school is officially in the books, and what an incredible start to the year! Seeing our hallways and classrooms filled with our students again made today so special. From new faces to familiar ones, there was so much excitement, learning, and connection happening throughout the building. We could not be more excited for the year ahead!

We also want to take a moment to acknowledge that some of our families experienced delays and adjustments with bus transportation today. We appreciate your patience and flexibility as routes and timing were being finalized in coordination with our transportation partners. We know that the first day involves a lot of moving parts, and we are grateful for your understanding as everything gets into its regular rhythm.

🚌 Bus Transportation Update
We have been advised that our students will begin their normal scheduled bus routines on Thursday. Thank you again for your understanding as transportation gets settled into its regular schedule.

🚗 Dismissal Reminder
To help us keep dismissal moving as safely and efficiently as possible, please have your student's designated car number/tag clearly visible in your windshield when arriving for pickup.

Families with siblings or students within the same household received one designated number for the household. If you did not receive a car number/tag, please let our office staff know so we can provide one for you.

For the safety of our students, families, and staff, please remain in your vehicle during dismissal unless you are a walker. This allows our team to keep traffic flowing and safely match students with their vehicles.

We also ask that any questions or concerns not related to immediate dismissal be communicated with the office after dismissal is complete. During this time, our team's full attention needs to remain on getting every Pilot safely where they need to go.

First days come with excitement, a few growing pains, lots of moving pieces, and plenty of memories. We are incredibly grateful for the patience and support of our families and for the hard work of our staff who helped make today possible.

✈️💙 TOMORROW, WE TAKE FLIGHT! 💙✈️

The first day of school is finally here, and we cannot wait to welcome our Pilots! As we prepare for an exciting first day, here are a few important reminders to help everything run as smoothly as possible.

⏰ Morning Arrival
Arrival begins at 7:30 AM, with the tardy bell ringing at 8:00 AM. We understand that the first morning may come with unexpected delays as everyone settles into a new routine, and we truly appreciate the patience and grace of our families and staff.

🚌 Transportation Changes
Please notify the office of any transportation changes by 2:30 PM. This includes if your child normally rides the bus but you plan to pick them up on the first day. Letting us know ahead of time helps us ensure every student gets home safely and efficiently.

🚗 Dismissal
School dismisses at 3:30 PM. We appreciate everyone’s patience as students, families, and staff become familiar with our dismissal procedures.

📋 Enrollment & Documents
If you still need to complete enrollment or have outstanding documents to provide, please connect with the office after morning drop-off. This allows our team to remain focused on welcoming our students and ensuring a smooth and prompt start to the first day.

Tomorrow is the beginning of new friendships, new opportunities, and so many memories to come. Thank you for your patience, partnership, and grace as we begin this exciting new school year together. 💙
