📣ATTN Ada county residents!!

Ada County 4-H is looking for volunteers to serve as 4-H Judges during our upcoming fair events, and we would appreciate your help spreading the word! Below is information to share and a link to sign up. I have also attached a flyer that can be shared via email or social media (this information can also be found on our social media pages.)

Judging is a rewarding way to encourage youth, recognize their accomplishments, and help them develop confidence and life skills. No 4-H experience is required—we provide guidance and support for all volunteers.

Volunteer opportunities include:
Record Book Interviews: August 8–18 (multiple date and time options available)
Project Judging: August 19 (Arts, Aerospace, Crochet, Entomology, Fishing, Foods, Geology, Knitting, Photography, Quilting, Robotics, Shooting Sports and more!)
Poster Judging: August 19 (Large and Small Animal)
Gold Medal Record Book Judging: August 19
Story Contest Judging: August 19

💦💦We had a splash enjoying the Twin Lakes at Twinlow United Methodist Camp & Retreat Center this summer.

And... we are ready to do it again next summer for our 79th year of gathering to celebrate leadership through recreation! 🚣‍♂️

What treasures were gained in the 2026 Chatcolab season? Those that stayed and those that joined at a distance encountered 6 kinship questions. The profound learning continues from this learning laboratory. Chatcolab leaves a residue of opportunity and change like the ponderosa pinecones we gathered as the sun rises and sets in our lives...
