Please join us in celebrating our incredible Program Director, Megan, who marks one year with Lil’ Sunshine!

Over the past year, Megan has worked tirelessly in the classrooms and behind the scenes to make Lil’ Sunshine a fantastic place for our children, families, and team to thrive. From leading us to achieve our 3 STARS quality rating to building a deeply supportive community and lifting up our teachers every day, her heart, dedication, and leadership touch everything we do.

Megan, thank you for leading with empathy and unwavering commitment. We are so lucky to work with you and can’t wait to see all the great things you’ll accomplish in the next year!

Ever wonder what is happening during our toddler circle time?✨

It is so much more than just songs and stories, as every moment is packed with major developmental milestones in action! Our welcome and weather songs build vocabulary and rhythm, while calendar talks and counting numbers introduce foundational math concepts. Through group discussions, our little ones practice turn-taking, listening, and a sense of belonging, and we always seal it with a love of reading by wrapping up with a wonderful storybook.📚🧠

Little Hands, Big Harvests!

Our little gardeners have been hard at work in our garden, and the results are absolutely delicious!

We’ve already harvested fresh lettuce and sweet peas straight from the vine for our morning snacks. There is nothing quite like watching our children explore nature firsthand. We are fostering a love for the great outdoors, learning where their food comes from, and getting a little dirt on their hands! 🌍✨

Next up on our garden watch: crunchy carrots, juicy tomatoes and our beautiful, towering sunflowers! 🥕🍅🌻

Today was a huge milestone for our center and we found the perfect way to celebrate with our Growing Together Family Day!🎉🌱🌸

This newly renovated outdoor space has been a long time coming, and it wouldn't have been possible without the incredible generosity, donations, and hard work of so many wonderful people in our community.

Seeing the children and families explore the new space, enjoying the beautiful food spread, and painting rocks together to leave a permanent mark on our new area was the best way to celebrate.

Thank you to everyone who supported this project and joined us to celebrate, connect, and grow together! ❤️🎨
