Happy Founders' Day to all current brothers and alumni of this Beta-Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Sigma. On this date 116 years ago, our chapter was founded at NC State University. We are proud of our history as the longest running chapter on campus, and we look forward to many more successful years ahead!

The brothers of Kappa Sigma are glad to be moved into our new location on campus at 2709A Fraternity Court. We look forward to a great school year.

Alumni Brothers, this is a reminder that our Reef Ivey memorial golf tournament is taking place on April 7th at the Neuse Golf Club. Start time is 1:00pm. Signup to play ends tonight and costs $70 per person, with food and golf carts being provided. To sign up, follow the instructions in the provided link below. We are happy to announce that our annual Hotdogs for Heroes philanthropy event will be taking place on April 20th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Everybody is welcome, with admission being free for all Alumni brothers, active duty and veteran military personnel. Tickets are five dollars for everyone else and can be purchased at the event. All proceeds are going to the Kappa Sigma Military Heroes Campaign. Hotdogs are all you can eat and the West Street Band will be performing. We hope to see everyone there!

Alumni Brothers, this is a reminder to save the date for the Beta-Upsilon Reunion May 18th and May 19th of this year. We will be gathering at the Backyard Bistro on Friday evening and at the old Kappa Sigma house on Fraternity Court on Saturday. More details to follow. We would to congratulate our Beta-Upsilon brother Zach Lewis for all his hard work to the chapter and overall campus community. Here is a statement about Zach from our current president. We would like to encourage all NC State students to vote today at 8pm for Zach Lewis to be the next Student Body Vice President. Vote here!

I pledged Kappa Sigma with Zach in Fall 2015, and as soon as we finished pledging he was elected to the Executive Committee as a freshman, which is something that does not frequently happen. Since then he has held numerous other leadership positions in the chapter and on the Interfraternity Council Executive Board, and excelled at all of them. Alberto’s and Zach’s character is unrivaled and they will be the responsible, inclusive, and exciting leaders that NC State needs. Our executive committee was very excited to attend the 2018 Carolina Conclave this past Saturday. They learned so much, and even had the honor of meeting our Worthy Grand Procurator, Justin Hansen!
