Another successful Graduate Education Day at the NC General Assembly. Special thank you to our three graduate student representatives, Azka Arshad (Ph.D. in Chemistry), Christopher Oates (Ph.D. in Biological and Agricultural Engineering), and Matthew Gleason (M.S. in Operations Research) for serving as our NC State Graduate Education ambassadors for the day. Special thank you also to our elected officials for taking time to meet with our students.

Congratulations Graduates! 🎓🎉 As the academic journey of our Spring 2026 graduates comes to a close, we celebrate the determination and discovery that brought them to this milestone. On Saturday, May 9, more than 7,400 graduates will become Wolfpack alumni, of those over 2,000 will be conferred a master's or doctoral degree. Envisioning Research is the university's annual research image contest. It's made to help the NC State research community share the beauty of research. Visually highlighting the work being done at the bench and in the field, both on campus and around the world.
Graduate students, undergraduate students, postdocs, faculty and staff are encouraged to enter. Help us highlight the beauty and importance of the work being done. Over $4,000 in cash prizes are awarded annually to university-affiliated applicants, and the winning images are used in a variety of promotional ways across campus to increase visibility. 👀
