Merry Christmas!!

We as a group are very appreciative, lucky, and blessed to have had Liz apart of CBSF in any manner for the past 6 years. We thank you, Liz, for all the memories, for making every meeting enjoyable, for being there whenever we need it, and for guiding us along our journey. We love you and wish you well.

As it was our last structured meeting this year we spent some time reflecting upon this past semester, discussing what we want to get out of CBSF, and some personal goals for the upcoming semester.

Happy Thanksgiving!! We will not meet next Thursday so you can eat all the food you want!! December 2nd will be game night if you are able to make it!! See you then

Our Leadership team did a great job sharing their favorite Bible stories. With a live action David and Goliath, a bushy redhead Zacchaeus, and a Jedi Jesus it was a entertaining night!

Next week will be our last structured meeting of the semester and we hope you will join us for it. We will have some time for reflection on the semester and time for what you want to get out of CBSF next semester. We value your input so we hope you can make it!

It's challenging to discuss what Psalms are in only one night, but we gave it our best effort. Thanks to Justin for leading and making it enjoyable!

Next week is GAME WEEK!! Join us @7 at Forest Hills! Don't forget to bring a friend and even bring a game!

During a stressful part of the semester Fall Retreat was the perfect opportunity to take some intentional time to rest. Where better to rest than the beach!

We are glad we got to see Larry Hovis in Raleigh at the start of his Welcome Ride and in Wilmington where his ride came to an end. We managed to total up around 170 miles walked, ran, or swam during the 2 weeks of our own Welcome Ride in support of the great ministry work Larry is doing!

We are back at Forest Hills this Thursday at 7 and a Psalm will be the center of discussion! See you there!!

!! ANNOUNCEMENTS !!
Fall Retreat is this weekend! Woop woop!! Reminder that we are requiring a negative covid test within 48 hours prior to leaving, meaning on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday you will need to test negative. The retreat will also cost $45 dollars and you should get that to Liz!

Don't forget about the Welcome Ride either! Get those walks in with a friend and put your miles walked in the Google form!

Fall Retreat is right around the corner!! October 15-17 we will be at Carolina Beach relaxing and enjoying the weather. We will be leaving the 15th, travel plans will be communicated more later so keep an eye out for that. It will be a good relaxing weekend, we don't have much planned other than church Sunday morning.

We have also officially started our own Welcome Ride so get those walking shoes on and a couple friends and go for a walk, a hike, and maybe even a run!! There is a form in the groupme to fill out with the miles you and your friends travel so don't forget to fill that out!

Welcome back! We hope everyone has a good FDOC tomorrow! We will be meeting this Thursday Aug. 19th at 7 pm. We will be meeting in a different room at Forest Hills so there will be directions posted soon on where to park and where to go so stay tuned!

It will be more of a laid back meeting and we will have some games! Don't be shy and bring a friend too! We hope to see you all Thursday!
