The Xi Theta Graduate, Alumnae, & Professional Chapter of Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. 🦋 was founded.
After the 2003 National Convention, Beta Alumnae, Liz Gutierrez and Kerry Vallant, met with Alpha Alumna, Desiree Downs, to discuss the idea of starting a GAP chapter based in the Triangle (Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill, NC). We love giving back to our community and today we worked with A Note in the Pocket. We sorted shoes and clothes, and loaded up the trailer for recycling. Our bodies will feel it tomorrow however our spirits are full.

We're pretty bad about taking pictures, however, the best part about our chapter is our genuine friendship. All it takes is one group text and we're there. Last night we made an impromptu trip to the movies to see Mufasa the Lion King. Leave it to us to discuss family dynamics and their impact on our decision making as adults afterwards. We always have a good time when we're together. 🦋
