TRAIN DAY! Every year, Mr. Parrish's 8th grade history students look forward to Train Day as they explore the impact railroads had on American history and “How the West Was Won.” Students also learn about the history of model trains through a collection featuring tin trains from the 1930s, models from the 1940s-1970s, and even a 1951 steam locomotive that still runs today. The collection also includes modern trains operated by remote control and even a cell phone!

🇮🇹 Day 7: San Gimignano & Rome!
Today our seniors spent the morning exploring the beautiful town of San Gimignano, enjoying time to shop, wander the charming streets, and take in the breathtaking views of this historic hilltop city.
Later, the group traveled to Rome for an unforgettable guided tour of the iconic Colosseum and Roman Forum. Students stepped back in time as they explored the incredible history and architecture of Ancient Rome.
As the final day in Italy comes to a close, we are so thankful for the memories made, the adventures shared, and the experiences our seniors will carry with them for years to come.

🇮🇹 Day 6: Lucca & Florence!
Today our seniors arrived in the charming city of Lucca for a day filled with shopping, exploring, and experiencing the beauty of Tuscany. Students enjoyed wandering through the historic streets and taking part in a fun bike ride around the city. 🚲
Later, the group returned to Florence with more time to shop, explore, and enjoy the incredible sights and atmosphere of the city.
