Congratulations to Mwende Mumo who presented her honors thesis for her economics major at the Meredith College Celebrating Student Achievement Day! Mwende's thesis examined the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and associated economic and social justice issues on the career plans of college students. Mwende was also recognized today for her outstanding performance in her economics courses by receiving the School of Business Excellence in Economics award!

Congratulations to Sara Chung who presented her honors thesis for her economics major at the Meredith College CSA Day today! Sara surveyed Meredith College students who were multilingual and asked about their career plans to determine if and how they plan to use their multilingual skills on their jobs. Sara had an interest in this topic because she plans to be an ESL teacher.
