Athens Drive High School is a comprehensive High School in Raleigh, NC. Part of our programs include two STEM Academies: The Academy of Energy and Sustainability and the Health Science Academy. We offer a comprehensive Advanced Placement program as well as arts and Career Technical Education courses.

We are beyond excited to share that Athens Drive will be recognized at Thursday's NC State Board of Education Meeting as a Model STEM School of Distinction. Under the leadership of Mrs. Lauren Doran and through a rigorous qualification process, Athens Drive is the largest high school in North Carolina to receive this honor! The recognition ceremony will be streamed live between 9:15am and 9:35am at tinyurl.com/stemwin25 if you would like to celebrate with us!

Athens Drive Senior Portrait Sessions for the class of 2026 begin this Saturday, July 12th. These photos are used for student ID cards and in the yearbook, in addition to being available for purchase.
