Almost safe.
Almost ready.

There was a time I could predict my own exit.
Things would get good, really good, and I would find a reason to blow it up.
Pick a fight that didn't need picking.
Create distance right when closeness was available.
I knew I was doing it.
I knew why.
Knowing did nothing.
Completion changed it.
Not conversation.
Not insight.
Not another round of understanding the pattern.
A constellation session, where something I had been carrying for years finally finished.
The fighting wasn't about the fight.
It never was.
The next time things got good, really good, the pull didn't come.
Just didn't come.
That's how you know it's real.
That's what changed everything.
