Brent doing some weekend work on the farm dropping a tulip poplar that was struck by lightning last night. He’s still got it. I’m counting on him being just as good at fixing the fence section he took down. 😉
PS: The llamas and goats are already enjoying the foliage, so let’s give them a few days before we clean it up.

Please help us support this locally owned tree care family during this tragedy. .....
We are reaching out to local tree care companies and the community to offer support to the two surviving children of James (Jim) Lowery, owner of Donald Lowery Tree Service. Mr. Lowery lost his life in a tragic tree accident on Monday. We are collaborating with other tree care companies in the area with a goal to collect $10,000 to go towards a college fund that has been set up for his two children. Our daughter, Bella Grace, has started her own personal drive to collect money for his daughter and her friend, Delaney (pictured on the right). If you would like to make a contribution, please reach out to us through our website at www.LinebergerTree.com. We will personally deliver all donations collected this week to them on Friday. For convenience, you can PayPal to [email protected] and note in the memo section for the Lowery children. You can also send donations to their church directly at mailed to:

Storms rocked southern Wake County early this morning. The Red Team was dispatched early to help our customers. No one was injured when this big boy came down. 🤔👍🏻

The “Red Team” was activated yesterday afternoon when the first calls started rolling in from down trees. Today involved Beverly riding around Wake County scouting storm damage ahead of our crews and helping customers through the recovery process. Our teams covered ground from South Raleigh, to West Cary, and a far north as Rolesville. Shout out to our daughter, Bella, who was an amazing assist in the passenger seat all day gathering customer details, photos, equipment list, etc in the database so we could respond to our customers faster. She was such a wonderful contributor to the team helping people in need. Last night, our son, Brayden, was helping board up a shattered window in a customer’s home that was demolished by a tree falling.
It always makes us sad to see so much damage, but grateful that everyone escaped without injury. We are thankful that Brent keeps up with industry standards so that we can always have good equipment that makes the jobs safer for our crews AND customers’ property. And our Red Team Crew ABSOLUTELY ROCKS!
LTS will be back at it again tomorrow. Please continue to pray for those affected and the guys out there working to restore normalcy safely. It looks like the damage is on isolated pockets around the county, but that doesn’t console those that felt nature’s wrath in the middle of February. 😢
Stay safe!
