It was so great to meet all the new families last week - praise God for this beautiful weather.

This Thursday will be our 2nd week of classes. There are still openings in some classes - feel free to stop by and check out the program!

St. Augustine Homeschool Enrichment is a tutorial program of about 200 students that meets once a week on Thursdays at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Raleigh for 15 weeks in the fall and 15 weeks in the spring.

We offer a comprehensive core academic curriculum for Elementary through High School, along with a variety of extra-curriculars for all ages. We also have some offerings for pre-K and kindergarten ages. Our academic courses are very thorough and are designed to stand alone as your curriculum in those subjects.

There is a family fee per semester to pay rent and other expenses; for classes, families pay teachers directly. The family fee is $90/semester per family; class fees range from $150 to $235 per semester per student, depending on supplies and services offered such as grading.

You may choose as many or as few classes as you like; but please be aware that, for safety, ALL STUDENTS MUST BE REGISTERED FOR A CLASS, OR WITHIN ARM'S REACH OF A PARENT, FOR THE ENTIRE TIME they are on campus.

Some notes for tomorrow, and then also for next week:

- Quick summary: we have regular class days tomorrow 5/1 and next week 5/8. SOME CLASSES WILL OFFER A MAKEUP for our second snow day from 10am-1pm on Friday, 5/9. See below for more details.

Hi everyone,

Happy Easter! He is Risen!

Some notes for tomorrow and the rest of the semester:
- We have 3 class days left - parents of older students, please make sure they are on a good track to finish the semester off well! Contact teachers if you have any concerns.

Guitar/Ukulele Recital:
- Mr. Rivera, our Guitar and Ukulele teacher, is holding a recital tomorrow night 6:30pm in the St. Joseph Community Room (in the church building). Some of our students are performing in the recital; but all are welcome to come. If you have a student interested in guitar or ukulele, please feel free to come see what the students are learning!

GRADUATES - 8TH AND 12TH GRADE
- If you have a student graduating from Middle School or High School, please let me know. Father Peter will give them a special blessing at our end of year gathering.

- CLASS SCHEDULE: MAKEUP FRIDAY 5/9
We have classes tomorrow 4/24, then 5/1 and 5/8. On FRIDAY 5/9 (the day after our last day of classes), some electives teachers will offer a make-up opportunity for the second snow day we missed. We'll have specific details out soon.

- If you have not yet paid your St. A semester fee, please go to your account and pay it now. You will not be able to register for fall classes until the fee is paid.

Hi all,

Happy Feast of St. Joseph!

For tomorrow -

- If there's rain in the afternoon, some classes may change location. You can always pick up at the usual St. A entrance, if you're not sure where your student's class is. Thanks so much teachers for your flexibility when we have weather situations!

- Since we had to miss 2 days for snow this semester, most teachers of non-academic classes will offer a make-up opportunity the day after our last day of classes, May 9.
*teachers of core classes met online or otherwise accommodated for the snow day to stay on schedule, so these classes won't have a make-up day.

We hope this arrangement will work well for most! We do apologize that some teachers aren't able to accommodate the schedule, and that it won't work for some families. Thanks to all for your patience and understanding.

We'll have more details about the make-up day coming soon.

Also - we hope to have the fall schedule out within the next couple of weeks.
