Wow, it’s been a while since I’ve posted on here! All the action has been taking place in our private Facebook group! So much so that we’ve reached over 3K members on there! 🎉

But I have some news to share:

The moment you’ve all been waiting for! ✨🩺💵

The Triangle Area Nurses Anonymous Nurse Income Report has been revived after many requests. Thank you all for your patience!

NOW, we need your help to get this up and going again! The more entries, the more pay transparency for our area! Send the link to all your nurse professional friends! Once we get more entries, I can work on ways to better organize the data we collected.

Oh and please comment with any questions or feedback you may have about the form!

As we come out of a global pandemic, a lot of us in this community are feeling burnt out and overwhelmed. In past years, we’ve done nurses week giveaways, events, discounts, and so much more. This nurses week, Triangle Area Nurses is going to take a break in solidarity…because we need it. If you’re a nurse professional and you’re feeling burnt out, this is your reminder to take care of yourself this week.

I encourage you to:

-explore side hustles of things that you enjoy that are not in the nursing field
-take some time to be with nature
-gently move your body with yoga or stretching
-journal and brain dump with pen and paper
-make that career move you’ve been afraid of
-unfollow or unsubscribe to content you’re no longer interested in
-have a beer or coffee with a friend
-let your body sleep in one morning as much as it needs

Graciously take your employer’s nurses week gift, but know you’re worth so much more than a branded stress ball or free lunch ticket.

Stay Vibrant,

Chrisy ✨

NURSE INCOME REPORTS — Triangle Area Nurses 04/30/2022

In light of all the engagement we received on a post about nurse pay on our private group, I created an ANONYMOUS Triangle Area Nurses Income Report! Thank you guys SO MUCH for sharing and being transparent about your pay! THIS is what we need in this field! These conversations can be uncomfortable, but they are necessary for change and for facilities to realize that we deserve better!!! Please follow the link to anonymously submit your income and to view responses. ✨

I also want to add that it was brought to my attention that Whole Life Nurse has a similar income report for North Carolina and other states and our report is based off of her original idea. I wanted to create something more specific to the Triangle Area.

NURSE INCOME REPORTS — Triangle Area Nurses Anonymous report of what nurses in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, and surrounding areas get paid.

HAPPY NURSES WEEK 🩺✨

Recycling these photos from 2019 to reminisce on simpler times and to stay hopeful for pandemic-free future!

This past year you all showed up in really big ways for our community, not only for our patients and their families, but for each other!

Our private Facebook group has grown exponentially this past year and has turned into a beautifully active safe space to connect with nurses from all over North Carolina and beyond! You’ve been so welcoming to travel nurses and those moving to us from out of state, you have given job seeking advice, you have homed nurses seeking relocation, helped new grads with job choices, and students with NCLEX advice. The list is so long, but even throughout a global pandemic when physical connection through in-person events were extremely limited, you all still were able to pivot and show up for each other! THAT is COMMUNITY!

Whenever we see you all wear our shirts to work or tag us in your photos, when we see our stickers on water bottles, when we hear you talk about Triangle Area Nurses to your nurse friends, and even when you ask us how to get involved, WE BECOME SO MUCH MORE GRATEFUL!!! Seriously, this community is so much more than stickers and tees and Code Cofees (oof I love a good rhyme 😍). It’s about supporting each other at a local level through things that only nursing professionals can understand.

For that, we thank you all all so much! HAPPY NURSES WEEK TO OUR vibRaNt NURSE PROFESSIONAL COMMUNITY! 🥳

PRE-ORDER: COVID-19 VACCINE TEAM SHIRT 03/26/2021

COVID-19 VACCINE TEAM SHIRTS ARE NOW AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER! 🎉

A pre-order allows us to order the right amount of shirts so we can make sure everyone gets the size they want. Shirts will be ready in about 2-3 weeks after the screen printer fulfills our order.

PRE-ORDERS END THURSDAY APRIL 1ST! After this, you will not be able to order until we physically receive our shirts so we can do an inventory count and know how many we have left to sell. If they all sell out and there is more interest, we will create another pre-order! 😊
