Lisa, Susan, and their son Zen joined our DFC family through our Camp to Community event in Hickory, when they needed to find their people most.

Last weekend, they hosted a “party with a purpose” to bring together the community once again in celebration of Zen’s journey through “The Good, The Bad, and the Hopeful.”

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Patrick family for leaning into The DFC community, raising funds, and giving back to support other families who need it.

For those living with T1D, camp is one of the first places where they are surrounded by others who “get it.”

We at The DFC are immensely grateful for sponsors like Cone Health who allow us to create programs that positively change the lives of those living with type 1 diabetes, and memories that last their whole lives. Sincerely, thank you!

Just as those in The DFC community find others to lean on, the support of our sponsors helps us positively transform the lives of those living with T1D.

We’re so grateful for sponsors like Abbott whose support helps us create a world where those living with T1D and their families can thrive.
