RECOVERY IS POSSIBLE. AND THE RESULTS MATTER.
This September, Wake Monarch is joining the national celebration of Recovery Month—and we’re inviting our entire community into the story.
For young people facing substance use challenges, recovery takes more than completing treatment. It takes connection, education, healthy relationships, meaningful support, and a community that continues to show up.
At Wake Monarch, we’ve seen what that support can make possible:
• 75% of participating youth maintained six months or more of continuous recovery
• 100% reported stronger positive peer relationships and participation in substance-free activities
• Students achieved a 94% average daily attendance rate
• Recovery capital through the relationships, resources, and strengths that help sustain recovery have greatly increased
And we’re not standing still.
Wake Monarch is strengthening its foundation, improving our recovery and education programs using evidence-informed practices, building stronger community partnerships, and creating the infrastructure needed to serve more young people and families well.
That is what Recovery Month means to us: celebrating progress while building what comes next.
Throughout September, we’ll share the stories, results, people, and work behind Wake Monarch, and invite you to be part of it.
Our goal is to raise $50,000 this month to help strengthen and expand recovery opportunities for teens and young adults in our community.
Follow along. Share our story. Join us at an event. Introduce someone to our mission. Give if you can. https://wakemonarchacademy.org/donate
Because young people in recovery need more than hope. They need a community that helps make hope possible.
