Raleigh French Instruction

As many of you know, our tenant Moises (who is also my husband's friend and coworker of the past 7 years) has been detained by ICE since Tuesday.
He was picked up randomly from his job site while ICE was looking for other people.

Moises is a DREAMER who was brought here as a toddler and was protected under DACA until recently. He was in the process of getting his citizenship.

We are trying to help Moises as best we can.

His wife is pregnant with their third child, due in three week (December 14th). And they have two children, aged 5 and 2.

Moises is also the person who painted our current rental and did some renovation here for us this past year. If you have visited my new classroom, you have seen his work.

He is still being detained and hasn’t been returned to his family yet.

He is the sole provider for his family, and he created his own business, the same way I built mine.

I am sharing a Go Fund Me link to help his wife with their astronomical legal fees to help bring him back.

This really hit close to home, and Moises truly is a hard worker and a wonderful person.

I would also like to inform you that I am re-opening my classes for 2-7 year-olds. Those classes were too difficult to maintain online, but I am now re-opening them in person.

Those include my French Crafts classes and my French Playtime sessions for children of all ages, which I had to interrupt while the sessions were exclusively online.

I am deeply excited about this and can't wait to restart my sessions with the little ones.

Raleigh French Instruction is offering classes in person again. As well as classes online.

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me through the pandemic and kept on taking classes while they were online.

Unfortunately, this lasting pandemic is still making it impossible to have classes in person.

Because of that, it won't be possible for me to offer classes for children under 6 years old until classes can resume in person.

It's heartbreaking, but online classes for the little ones just don't work as it's not possible to use the toys and material necessary for them to learn.

Hopefully, things will improve and classes in person will finally be an option again soon.

Raleigh French Instruction has opened new time slots for the Fall.

I am finally able to open on Mondays!

The slots are filling fast and the schedule is almost full, so please reserve your time early.

I was hoping to be able to open classes in person this Fall. Unfortunately, I am still unable to do so.

I am hoping 2022 is the year it happens!
