UPDATE: Due to the impacts of Tropical Depression Chantal, several parks, preserves, and trails along the Eno River have been closed as staff work to assess the damage. Currently, the parks and trails in and near the Eno River that are closed include (but are not limited to):
- Blue Indigo Preserve
- Panther Branch Natural Area
- Confluence Natural Area
- Eno River State Park
- Occoneechee Mountain State Natural Area
- West Point on the Eno City Park
- Little River
- Lake Michie
- Segment 9 and the western 25 miles of Segment 10 of the Mountains to Sea Trail
- Gold Park
- Riverwalk
- Kings Highway Park

This is not a comprehensive list but reflects communications we have received from various park authorities and community partners. This post will remain pinned to our profile until we have a new update.
