MEET EMILY!!!
Sampson County 4-H is proud to introduce Emily Taylor! She is a NCSU rising senior in Agriculture Education. She serves as president for the Animal Science Club. Emily has plans to teach ag after graduation. We are excited to have her join the 4-H family this summer!

Kindergarten classes at LC Kerr School just recently got to learn about chicken life cycles and hatch chicken and quail eggs through 4-H Embryology! Check out these little guys!

On this day in 1914, President Woodrow Wilson passed the Smith-Lever Act. This gave birth to Extension across the nation. 4-H may have been started just a few years before, but the passing of the Act gave 4-H a home with NC State and NCA&T.

Starting April 22nd, Sampson County 4-H is partnering with Grace Helping Others to collect items for a community baby shower set to be held in July.
You can help by donating Diapers (sizes NB - 4) and new baby items. Items can be dropped off at the N.C. Cooperative Extension - Sampson County Center at 55 Agriculture Pl. Clinton NC between the hours of 8-5pm.

Congratulations to the Sampson County 4-H High School team for placing Second overall in North Carolina Game of Drones competition!!! This was the groups first time competing.
Youth competing in today's competition had to complete a series of challenges that mocked real life scenarios involving drone coding.
They tied for first place. The tie was broken on a tiebreaker challenge.
