Hello All!
As many as 1 in 31 children may be diagnosed with autism in the United States. As more children are diagnosed, more families face financial, emotional, and day-to-day hardships.
You can make a difference in the lives of individuals with autism and their families by joining our team, LEARN WITH THE BEST LIONS, for the Triangle Run/Walk for Autism on Oct. 11. All of the money raised will go to help children and adults in our community with autism.
Want to do more? You could recruit family members, friends, and co-workers. It’s easy to use the Run/Walk for Autism website to create a personal webpage and email people, asking them to join our team or donate. Even if you can't come out that day, you can join our team and raise money.

We received the most beautiful text today from one of our former ABA Clinic kiddos. Thank you C!
We miss you! You will never understand how much, Ms. Jill, meeting you changed S's life. When everyone else turned us away, you invited us in. Learn with the Best saw the issue that was present, took action and worked with him until the very end. That changed my life, finally someone listened to me. Now we are here [in school with home services] and honestly I did not think we could. S proved everyone wrong, including me.
Thanks for Ms. Brandi's recommendation and heart filled letter. We now have ABA services at home.!!! He is doing much better now with the aggressive behavior, his outbursts and social skills. He also doing well in school. He continues to ask about you ALL. Just to give a small insight on his progress. Here is a video [of his reading attached separately].

Learn with Best School is offering a Virtual Academy Support IN PERSON Classroom for upper elementary/early middle school students who are attending WCPSS's Virtual Academy for the 2020-2021 school year. We will be supporting approximately 6 general education students with their virtual classes and supplement instruction as needed. The school day is Monday through Friday from 9:00am-3:00pm. We miss our school and clinic kiddos so very much!! It is a joy to be able to see them during individualized and group Zoom meetings! This allows us to review past learning, introduce new concepts and to stay connected!! Live contacts coupled with online curricula and paper/pencil activities give our group a great education while we are at home. We can't wait until we get to be together again!!

Hello Friends of LWTB!
We miss everyone so very much and are thrilled that we have been able to stay connected through a variety of mediums.
I thought it was important to me to share what LWTB School is doing in light of the current COVID-19 pandemic. (This is paraphrased from an email I sent to our families)
I have been asked what LWTB School is going to do now that WCPSS is out until May 15. As of right now, we are going to take it week by week. As of March 16, 2020, we had already started providing curricula for your children. Our teachers have been working so very hard to provide you with tuition based continued education for you and your child. We are providing daily schedules, educational materials, online live meetings and direct instruction academic sessions via Zoom, Google Classrooms, as well as various online activity accounts. We also have our YouTube Channel and are having some fun with that. Given the circumstances, I feel that we are in good shape with continuing to keep school going in this manner until we are able to safely convene in the building again in one way, shape or form. I speak with staff multiple times a day and we meet live a few times a week so we can continue to be synchronized in our efforts to give your children the best home-education possible. If parents feel that you need more direction, virtual meeting time, ANYTHING, you need only ask and we are here for you and your children. It is our great pleasure to serve you and be flexible with all of our instruction and your needs during this time.
As a reminder, if/when we are able to restart school in the building, it will be based on school staff comfort and availability. My staff is being incredibly creative in what they are able to offer and we are already considering how we may be able to reenter the building and hold classes on any level in a safe and meaningful way.
Thanks, as always, for your patience and understanding. Please feel free to share your thoughts either with me or the group as I would love to hear from you!!
Hugs,
Jill
