Celebrate with Cheryl

Just completed my Behavior Change Specialist Certification. 🎉 This course focused on using Cognitive Behavior Therapy to help us develop and set new goals for ourselves. In case you didn’t know, I also have studied Counseling and Human Development so this was a really interesting certification to add to my list!

Today, I completed my Nutritional Coach Certification! I am currently looking into new opportunities, so stay turned! I hope to dance with you soon!

Last week, I completed the instructor course for First Aid/CPR/AED with American Red Cross. So now, not only can I help in a life threatening situation but I can help others learn too! Fun Fact: The song Staying Alive by the BeeGees is 103 BPM which is a perfect song to do chest compressions to while preforming CPR. That or Baby Shark, your choice. 😊 🐝 🦈

At 7 pm TONIGHT, I’ll be helping to teach the Famous line dance from Footloose call Fake ID at Whisky Rose in downtown Raleigh!

This is a tough one but I know my Zumba peeps would love it! So strap on those boots and come through!

Thank you for everyone that made it out to not just last nights class but all the classes over this past year! I’ve had a lot of big life changes and have always known that worries could be set aside to dance! I appreciate you all and am excited for Kelly to keep the party going!

If you haven’t heard, I accepted a new job that requires a good amount of travel and will have to, unfortunately, give up my Wednesday night Zumba classes. This week is my last class at North Ridge O2 Fitness. 😔 let’s go out with a bang and celebrate in Labor Day style! Kelly will be continue the class in September!
