Sure it’s chic, but it also took a lot of hard work, commitment & persistence to make this happen!

My kids used to watch me travel a ton, forget lunches and shoes, and act stressed - but I took back agency to rewire the narrative.

⚡️ They also watched me give away my entire career and financial stability to spend more time with them

🌱 They watched me invest in my health

🧘🏼‍♀️ They watched me learn how to regulate myself so I didn’t always feel so rushed and snapping all the time

They watched me prioritize being a healthy & present MOM and doing whatever it takes to maintain that

Ide say that’s pretty chic 💁🏼‍♀️

Here’s how to deep work block:

1. Remove distractions in your environment - try to work in the same spot every time - I like to change things up and get out of my office and work outside

2. Pen & paper - boost memory & eliminate pings + write down your intended task

3. Headphones & focus music - you can REWIRE your brain to auto-focus when it hears the music

4. Close out all tabs in your browser - seeing notifications can distract you

5. Glass of water

6. Timer - so you don’t have to mentally keep track

It’s time to rewrite the script 🖋️

It’s astonishing how many women I talk to who have been through burnout or are about to - all driven by a false narrative passed down to us from our 20’s

The “Ra-ra”, women can do anything, motivational books from the women we all looked up to and aspired to be… well I realized recently they forgot some chapters… you know the ones about how work-life-balance isn’t actually possible unless you have the resources to spend money helping with the kids and groceries

Well… we never got to read those so we tried to do it all (just like they portrayed) and it cost us our health, sanity, and sometimes time with our family

Not anymore - I’m rewriting the story that you can achieve success by taking care of yourself - by investing in stress recovery, nervous system regulation and tools that actually work!

Ladies… it’s time to undo the damage and help our younger generations.

We were told to “just put your head down and grind it out” and “outwork everyone else” because that’s “just the price you pay for success” - WRONG

That’s the price you pay for burnout, autoimmune disorders and chronic damaged nervous systems - no thanks.

It’s up to us to change the narrative for our younger generations - success shouldn’t cost them their health
