Do you know why the Raleigh Christmas Parade takes place before Thanksgiving? For the last 60 years it’s been done this way to help downtown shops gain exposure and customers before the holidays. (Plus better chances for good weather)

One of our favorite corners of Raleigh…
is a nonprofit urban farm in downtown Raleigh connecting and nourishing the community through regenerative agriculture! 🧑🌾
Every Wednesday April-November from 4-7pm they host a “Pay What You Can” farm stand to purchase produce grown in the garden ☺️
We love picking up a beautiful bouquet and trying a new veggie! Plus they added these fun chalk tables for kiddos to color.

Y’all! I am SO excited is coming to the triangle this month! 🙌
October 23rd at Lake Benson Park in Garner join for the ONLY mud run in the country designed so both kids AND adults can run together (ages 5 and up)!🏃
If you’ve ever thought about participating in a mud run this event is the perfect “first timer” opportunity! The course is 1.5-2 miles with 14 obstacles designed for kids and adults. 👍
I’ll be running with my 8 year old and am so excited to participate in this fun event together.

Magical night attending at ❄️ There’s still a few more chances to see this incredible production! If you’re on the fence, I highly recommend the experience. I think 6 and up is the perfect age to attend and my 8 year old was enthralled every second. ☺️ Posted a few videos of the night in more story and tips for attending with kiddos under 5!

If you’re kiddos still need back to school hair cuts I HIGHLY recommend ! I booked an appointment for my daughter and once my son saw the experience he asked if he could get a cut too so they graciously squeezed him in.
Both kiddos got haircuts and their nails painted! The staff didn’t hesitate for a second when my son asked to get his nails painted too. 💛
Both stylists we had listened really well and did exactly what we asked for.
We’ve been to other kids salons in the past but Sharkey’s in Cary is definitely our new go-to spot. 🙌
