A fusion of East and West - ink & watercolor paintings led by Yang Laoshi. Art, culture, creativity, and language in full force! Chinese landscape painting, known as Shanshui (山水, meaning “mountain and water”), is a traditional art form that represents not only natural scenery but also the artist’s emotions, philosophy, and view of life.
Thank you for treating our 7th grade students to an amazing afternoon with Baba Bomani! Through hip-hop, students explored Frederic Douglas and the writing process! He showed us what an engaged group of learners looks like! Our students loved the call and responsive; learning can and should be fun!
