🍅 We have PERSIMMONS! 🤭
These are a delicious fruit and we’re so happy to be getting them from two sustainably-minded and earth conscious farms: Okfuskee Farm and Drowning Creek Farm! 🚜
Isn’t it amazing that we can eat fruit year around, grown here in NC? We have such a variety of native fruits (even native persimmon, although these are the Fuyu and Sheng varieties which are native to Asia)!😋
Big name grocers are so unbelievably dependent on imported food, but especially fruits. And they’ve conditioned us to prefer gas-ripened bananas over fresh, local fruit like persimmon, apple, muscadine, etc!🍐🍅🍎🍐🍑🍈
So get your fruit, get your vitamins and enjoy a fruit that’s been an important part of the NC ecosystem for a long time.
❗️Remember, we DELIVER to your home and we offer CURB SIDE PICK UP.

🍁 New fall product! 🍂 Apple wedge cider!
We know, we know, we know, pumpkin spice everything steals all the thunder during these brisk months. But apple cider is a true treat — refreshing when served cold or belly-warming when served warm.
🍎And, as always, it’s sourced locally and made from locally grown apples. A taste of NC!🍎

🍎It’s apple season, y’all! This is one of my favorite times of year because 1) apples + peanut butter are a perfect snack, and 2) HOMEMADE APPLE CIDER VINEGAR 😋
Local apples are crisp, sweet and not waxed, which is why they’re great for fermenting into vinegar.
So whether you eat them straight up, chop them for your kids or ferment them, it’s that time of year and we hope you enjoy 🙃
We source only the best, most local and small-farmed products!
