Dear Fred Olds Families,

As the festive holiday season approaches, it is a wonderful time to embrace the spirit of giving and togetherness within our community. Every year, our school puts together the Giving Tree to support our fellow families during this special time of the year.

Shop for the child with the sizes listed. Try to provide two essential gifts and one fun gift.

Bring your wrapped gifts to the school office labeled with the number of your recipient on every gift by Friday, December 13.

🍕 Teacher & Staff Appreciation Alert! 🍕

This past Friday, the PTA treated our amazing teachers and staff to a pizza lunch during their workday! We know they work so hard for our students every day, and we were excited to show our appreciation with a delicious meal.

✅ Catered lunches, breakfasts, snacks, and love for our teachers throughout the school year

Our PTA was thrilled to spoil our teachers with some tasty snacks last week! 🥨🍇 A little treat for the big difference they make in our children’s lives!

Excited to kick off the new school year with a warm welcome back for our teachers and staff! 🎉

The PTA provided a delicious breakfast spread this morning to show our appreciation for our amazing team of teachers, administrators and staff as they head back to school to get ready for the upcoming year. 🥞🥓☕️

Lost something? Check the last lost and found of the year on Friday in the front hallway!

Book donation is this week for the Olds Free Summer Book Fair. We got some great books on the first day, so someone is really on top of clearing out their kids' bookshelves! The book donation bins will be outside the school front doors and at carpool every morning this week.

We can't take board books or workbooks, but all other books welcome. We always have a need for books for the older grades. If you know any middle school or high school families who might have books to clear out, encourage them to donate!

The fourth graders enjoyed a fun field trip to the NC State Dairy Farm last Friday. They learned all about the cows and the farm and then got to enjoy some Howling Cow ice cream! 🐄🍨☀️
