B-E-T-A!

Yesterday we celebrated Think Pink Day! Students in Beta Club did a fundraiser for cancer research. The challenge was to get donate money for pieces of tape in order to tape our principal to the wall! $535 was donated!

Tuesday, October 1st, we held our Fall Induction. We started with our Officer Instillation, led our parents through a presentation introducing them to Beta and finished with our induction ceremony for our 34 new members. Thank you to RHES alumni, Axel Melvin for being our guest speaker and Rachel Rutkowski, our Club President for giving her President’s Address. National Beta

In light of recent events following Hurricane Helene we have decided to change our October Service Project. We will be collecting the following supplies to send to residents in Western North Carolina. Items should be given to the homeroom teacher. Beta Club members will come around to collect items. Thank you in advance for donating.

Our September Service Project is “Serve Your School.” Our Beta members have done a great job assisting with morning car rider duty - greeting students as they get out of their cars each morning.
