Spent years minimizing S corp officer salaries? C corp planning runs the other way. Higher compensation is deductible at the entity level, which cuts into the 21% corporate tax, as long as it stays reasonable.

That reversal is the real risk in corporate work. The rules are not harder, but pass-through instincts stop applying. Capital losses only offset capital gains. NOLs cap at 80% of taxable income. The accumulated earnings tax has no pass-through equivalent.
