My doubles partner, Melanie Schlepphorst, and I qualified for the state tournament this weeked after playing 2 matches on Friday, going in seeded 3 in the Springfield sectional.
To advance to state we played Geitl/Allen
from RHS 6-0,6-0 in our first match. In Our last match we played the 5 seeded team of Prahbu/Zhang from Glenwood High school winning 6-2,6-4.
Saturday morning we played for our seed at state and placed 2nd in the sectional by beating the #2 seeded team of Cross/Nachteway from SHG by 6-1,0-6,6-3 and losing to the #1 seed of Glenwood High school, Oden/Lytchakov by a 2-6,2-6 score.
Chicago we will see u soon:)
