Mannhardt Music offers private lesson instruction (voice, piano and guitar) with a focus on teaching “the student first, then the instrument”. Solos, ensembles, composing, and music theory, as well as regular performance opportunities, all go into the structure of our studio.

Studio Collective location! 1210 Jersey

08/01/2026

We’re excited to finally share our big news!

🎶 Introducing the Quincy Studio Collective 🎶

What began out of necessity when Mannhardt Music Studio needed to relocate has grown into something even better—and bigger: a collaborative teaching community designed to support music educators and serve students throughout Quincy and the surrounding area.

Located in a dedicated wing of Luther Memorial Church, Quincy Studio Collective provides professional teaching spaces, shared resources, and student referrals to help independent music educators build and grow their studios while working alongside fellow professionals in a welcoming, collaborative environment.

Our hope is to create more than just a collection of teaching rooms. We envision a place where students are inspired, teachers encourage one another, and music education continues to thrive in our community.

Conveniently located at 1210 Jersey Street, next to Quincy Junior High School, the facility features a spacious lobby that quickly transforms into a rehearsal room, classroom, or intimate recital venue.

We’re currently welcoming inquiries from teachers of all musical disciplines who are looking for a supportive, professional, and affordable place to teach.

If you or someone you know is considering starting or expanding a private music studio and would like to do so in an independent, collaborative, and welcoming environment, we’d love to connect.

This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see the musical community that grows here.

📩 Send us a message to learn more about available studio space and becoming part of the Quincy Studio Collective.

More information will be coming soon for families and individuals interested in enrolling in private lessons!

This week’s final original we’re sharing and celebrating is Emma’s enchanting “Mirandus” which means “astonishing or unexpected”… exactly how she felt realizing what a talent she has for composing!

And with that, the last lesson at 201 was taught and the lobby is silent. As I turned up the air and turned off the CD player the final song of Thad Fiscella ‘s beautiful album The Road Home was just finishing up, as if the album, and this chapter of MMS, were wrapping up together right on cue.
201 N 3rd, you’ve been so many things for me, for my students, their families, and even community members. Right now it all still sits “intact” before the movers come tomorrow, I pause in gratitude and reflect on many things.
As the expression goes “Onward and Upward” (literally three flights of stairs) and we can’t wait to welcome more students, families, and community members into our new space in a few short weeks. But right now, I will have a few tears for the music, the moments, and the memories of our 9 years learning, growing, and shining downtown 💙
