There is something truly special about the people you meet at the Adams County Fair.

Over the past two summers, I’ve discovered a community that shares a passion for preserving the textile arts. They understand the value of handmade work and want these beautiful traditions to live on.

This year, Sewessentials was blessed when Kim Bush of Bluff View Photography Art and More invited us to share her booth. Every item sold and every raffle ticket purchased will help us purchase ❤️ MUCH-NEEDED FANS FOR OUR CLASSROOMS ❤️ for the children and volunteers who spend hours learning, creating, and teaching.

Over the past month, we’ve received so many wonderful handmade donations. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported our mission.

One of the most incredible gifts arrived from someone I hadn’t spoken to in years—a beautifully framed hand-tatted lace heirloom dated 1887. She suggested we raffle it so everyone would have an equal chance to own this remarkable piece of history.

Thank you to everyone helping Sewessentials preserve the art of sewing and other textile traditions for future generations.
