Queens Charter High School for Health and Wellness Queens Charter High School for Health and Wellness (QCHS) plans to open its doors to 9th grade students for the 2014-2015 school year.

QCHS will be located in Southeast Queens (District 29). Queens Charter High School for Health and Wellness will provide students in Queens with a college preparatory education in a focus on Health and Wellness. With obesity being a national epidemic, QCHS will provide the knowledge and life skill to live a healthy life. Students of QCHS will be enrolled in classes that are required by New York Sta

te in order to graduate. Students of QCHS will also be required to complete specialty classes focused around health and wellness. By the time QCHS students graduate, they will have not only received a college preparatory education, but they will have earned college or job-related experience in the field of health and wellness.
