Begindergarten Scientists in Action 🌱✨
While tasting the mint leaves in the garden, children noticed holes in the squash leaves. Isaiah — our resident “bug hunter” — spotted a little caterpillar. Using their classroom science kit, the kids gently placed the caterpillar in a bug catcher with fresh leaves and watched nature unfold. Over the month they learned the moth life cycle firsthand: caterpillar → cocoon → moth. Then, with proud smiles, they brought their new friend outside and released it to fly away. 🐛➡️🦋
Hands-on moments like this spark curiosity, care, and a love of science — exactly our goal at BRiDGES Preschool.

Last week we had the sweetest reminder of why we do what we do. After touring BRiDGES Preschool, a little girl and her mom visited another school — after the second tour, the three-year-old turned to her mom and said a very firm, “NO!” She had already made up her mind: BRiDGES was the place for her. ❤️
We’re honored when families choose us, and we can’t wait to welcome this new friend (and her big decision-making heart) into our classroom. Thank you, Miss Cassie, for showing our community what makes BRiDGES feel like home. 🌈✨

It's wired into their very being: that irresistible urge to move, to challenge gravity, to test strength and coordination. At BRiDGES Preschool, we know this isn't just playtime; it's purposeful, fundamental learning!

So we provide the environments – the logs to climb and balance across, the hay bales to leap across, the open spaces to run freely, and the beanbags and balls to throw – allowing children to exercise their bodies and minds exactly the way nature intended.
