We needed a pair of narrow nightstands for our guest room and with guests coming in a week, we needed them in a hurry! This started out as a couple of floating tops to be fastened into the wall flanking the bed. However the builders of our 94 year old house didn’t get the memo about the 16-inch standard spacing between studs. So, legs it was!

This thing weighs a quarter ton, but that's not the major challenge. It's too unwieldy for my truck. So, once assembled here at my shop, I'll disassemble and bring down the parts to the customer's location for reassembly. The trick is how to decide how much to take apart before shipment!
